Green Olympics
The Beijing 2008 Olympic Games is approaching, and the Chinese
government spares no efforts to make it a “Green Olympics” as stated
in the bidding proposal.
As a theme of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Green Olympics means to

which calls for the protection of environment, conservation of resources

I think you have made a right decision because besides watching the
exciting sports and games you are certain to be impressed by a green
Olympics held in green Beijing.
In order to implement the concept of “Green Olympics”, various
energy-saving and environmental protection measures have been carried out.
For example, citizens are encouraged to take bus rather than drive to work
to reduce air pollution. Sewage treatment plants have been built to
recycle the waster water. Cloth bags are recommended to substitute the
plastic shopping bags. I am sure you will enjoy a more clean and beautiful
